four “plus-size” models were shot by photographer steven meisel for a 10-page spread—and cover—for vogue italia’s june issue.
elizabeth taylor served as the inspiriation for the black and white photos featuring models marquita pring, tara lynn, candice huffine and robyn lawley. the resulting spread is filled to the brim with big hair, smokey eyes, skimpy lingerie, and flashy jewelry.
oh, and boobs and butt cheeks. lots and lots of those.
the best part is, there was no specific reason for the shoot—it’s not a “special edition” or a plus-size issue; it’s just beautiful, curvier models in plain old italian vogue.
